Heat-flow values from eastern Australia

Journal of Geophysical Research, 1964
Heat flows have been measured at seven sites in eastern Australia. The values confirm high heat flow in eastern Australia—about 2.0 μcal/cm2 sec. The values are in the range 2.0 to 2.9 μcal/cm2 sec, with the exception of values of 1.0 and 1.2 from two oil wells on the eastern edge of the Great Artesian Basin.
