The NUMEN project: Heavy-Ion Double Charge Exchange reactions towards 0νββ NME determination
NUMEN proposes cross sections measurements of Heavy-Ion double charge exchange reactions as an innovative tool to access the nuclear matrix elements, entering the expression of the life time of Neutrinoless double beta decay (0νββ).

This study demonstrates that memristors can replace conventional 2T–1C driving circuits with simplified 1T–1 m architectures by exploiting resistance switching. With ultra‐low switching voltages (< ±0.2 V) and multi‐level resistance states, the memristors precisely control the current injected into organic light‐emitting diodes (OLEDs).

Statistical and dynamical modeling of heavy-ion fusion–fission reactions
A modified statistical model and a four dimensional dynamical model based on Langevin equations have been used to simulate the fission process of the excited compound nuclei 207At and 216Ra produced in the fusion 19F + 188Os and 19F + 197Au reactions ...

Hadronization in Heavy-Ion Reactions
We present a model of fast hadronization of constituent quark matter in relativistic heavy ion collisions based on rate equations and capture cross sections in non-relativistic potential. We utilize a thermodynamically consistent approach with a non-ideal equation of state including correlation terms based on string phenomenology.

Wafer‐scale two‐dimensioanl In2Se3 oxidized into InOx on sodium‐embedded beta‐alumina enables multifunctional reconfigurable electronics. Sodium ions accumulate within distinct spatial distribution under drain‐controlle and gate‐controlled operation. Drain‐control operation gives controllability of ultraviolet‐driven optoelectronic synaptic conductance

Hadron ratio fluctuations in heavy-ion collisions
The first measurement of the fluctuation of the kaon-to-proton ratio in relativistic heavy-ion collisions is presented. This thesis details the analysis procedure for identifying kaons and protons using the NA49 experiment at CERN-SPS and discusses the ...

Quasifission and Shell Effects in Reactions Forming 266Sg [PDF]
The role of shell effects in reactions forming the heavy element 266Sg was investigated using the Mass Angle Distribution technique. For the 34S + 232Th reaction the doubly magic shell closure at 208Pb was found to strongly influence asymmetric ...

Signatures of quark gluon plasma formation in high-energy heavy ion collisions : a critical review
Ultra-relativistic heavy ion collisions offer the unique opportunity to probe highly excited dense nuclear matter under controlled laboratory conditions. The compelling driving force for such studies is the expectation that an entirely new form of matter
