Theoretical Study of Projectile Fragmentations in Relativistic Heavy-Ion Reactions

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2015
We have investigated and interpreted the production cross sections and isotopic distributions of projectile-like residues in the reactions 124Sn + 124Sn and 112Sn + 112Sn at an incident beam energy of 1 GeV/nucleon measured with the FRS fragment ...

Long‐Range Coordination Environment Modulates Single‐Atom Local States and Systemic Impact on CO2 Photoconversion

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Terminal groups on Cu porphyrins modulate the electronic states of single‐atom Cu centers through a long‐range electronic effect, without altering the Cu coordination geometry. Meanwhile, a multi‐descriptor framework is established that incorporates porphyrin regulation, hybrid catalyst properties, and CO2 photoreduction capabilities.

Kinetics and equilibria of ion-molecule association reactions : studied using temperature variable high pressure ion sources [PDF]

open access: yes
Interest in termolecular association reactions of the type shown below, stems from their importance in the chemistry of planetary atmospheres, gas-cooled nuclear reactors and gas-phase cluster ions.

Heavy-ion reactions as spin probes

open access: yes, 1987
Heavy-ion reactions can be powerful probes for spin-transfer strength in nuclei, provided their reaction mechanism is simple so that a correlation can be established between cross sections and the relevant matrix elements.

Microscopic approach to heavy-ion reactions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
Heavy-ion reactions are affected by the nuclear structure of the reactants and other dynamical processes during the collision. Theoretical studies of such reactions lead to a clearer understanding of prohibitive mechanisms to heavy-ion ...

Fragment emission studies in low energy light heavy-ion reactions

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2015
Fragment emission mechanisms have been studied in 12C on 12C and 13C on 12C reactions at same excitation energy. The inclusive energy distributions of the complex fragments (3≤ Z ≤ 5) emitted from the composite system have been measured in the angular ...

Coupled–Channels Analyses For Heavy–Ion Fusion Reactions of 16O+92Zr,144,148Sm Systems

open access: yesAtom Indonesia, 2010
We study in detail the fusion reaction of 16O with 92Zr and 144,148Sm at sub-barrier energies with coupled-channels framework using the error function potential for the nuclear potential.

Blood Biomarkers and Surface‐Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy for Gout: A Comprehensive Review

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Schematic illustrating gout disease progression from asymptomatic hyperuricemia to chronic tophaceous disease, highlighting the limitations of conventional imaging and biochemical diagnostics and the potential of engineered SERS platforms for ultrasensitive blood‐based detection of urate‐related biomarkers across disease stages, with the color gradient

Bond-forming reactions of N22+ with C2H4, C2H6, C3H4 and C3H6

open access: yes, 2015
Mass spectrometry, coupled with position-sensitive coincidence detection, has been used to investigate the reactions of N22+ with various small hydrocarbon molecules (C2H4, C2H6, C3H4, c-C3H6 and n-C3H6) at collision energies below 10 eV in the centre-of-
