Effect of steel fiber reinforced concrete on the heavy-weight floor impact sound performance
In South Korea, where apartment buildings in which the slabs of each unit are shared by the upper and lower floor units have become common, noises due to the floor impact sound from slabs between upper and lower floor units are coming to the fore as a ...

In this study, the impact force levels of bang machine and impact ball were measured, then the heavy-weight impact sounds generated by the bang machine and impact ball were investigated. It was found that the heavy-weight impact sources generated through modal excitation, and the impact force of the impact ball was similar to that of real impact source.

Prediction of Vibration-Mode-Induced Noise of Structure–Acoustic Coupled Systems
The exposure of a structure to an acoustic domain induces a sound field owing to the interaction of the air-fluid and structure at the acoustic–structure boundaries.

Assessment of workers\' exposure to hand-arm vibration of impact wrench in heavy vehicles punctured shops and provide vibration control methods [PDF]
Introduction In today's world, with the advancement of technology, hand tools that required the physical strength of the body have given way to electric and pneumatic tools. Despite all the advantages that these tools have, there are many limitations and

A STUDY ON PREDICTION OF HEAVY WEIGHT FLOOR IMPACT SOUND LEVEL BY FINITE ELEMENT METHOD
In this paper, we study the predicted floor impact sound level by finite element method. At first, we study the influence of the partition on the slab vibration in addition to the impedance characteristic of the partition.Following this, the influence on the slab vibration characteristic is shown by the construction of the partition. In addition, it is ...
