Alternate use of heavy hydrotreatment and visbreaker naphthas by incorporation into diesel
Abstract In order to provide a solution for refineries having limited catalytic reforming capacity, a process scheme for incorporating most of the low octane heavy hydrotreatment and visbreaker naphthas into diesel is presented in this paper. This scheme involves blending the visbreaker naphtha with the feed to the diesel hydrotreatment units ...

Characterization of naphtha produced from coprocessing coal-heavy oil
Capillary gas chromatography proved useful for characterizing naphtha produced from coprocessing coal and heavy oil at various conditions. Increasing the coal concentration in the feedstock resulted in higher contents of phenols, indane and cyclohexanes in the naphtha product.

Meta‐Analysis of Industry Incident Reports: Identifying Gaps in Climate‐Related Safety Risks
Climate‐related hazards like floods, storms, and heatwaves are increasing, raising concerns for industrial safety. When such events trigger technological failures (NATECH incidents), consequences can be severe, particularly in chemical and energy sectors. A PRISMA and bowtie‐based meta‐analysis of 50 climate‐linked incidents from the US Chemical Safety
