Enterococcus faescium filtrate suppresses Salmonella Heidelberg in broilers [PDF]
: The objective was to investigate the ability of a filtrate produced by the lactic acid bacterium Enterococcus sp. to control Salmonella Heidelberg in vivo. We determined that Enterococcus sp.

Ferroelectric Polarization Enabled Threshold Voltage Modulation in High Electron Mobility Transistor
A comprehensive model is developed to capture the coupled electrostatics of a ferroelectric capacitor and a metal‐insulator‐semiconductor high electron mobility transistor (MISHEMT) connected in ferroelectric‐metal high electron mobility transistor (FeMHEMT) configuration.

A meniscus‐guided microtransfer molding strategy enables scalable fabrication of grid‐type molecular martensite films with b‐axis‐correlated preferential texture. Sequential growth across microchannel intersections creates structurally continuous grids and robust thermoelastic actuation (∼11% strain, > 50 cycles, maximum force density: 7.1 × 109 N m−3).

In this study, Hammer et al. highlight cyclic‐arginine surface engineering as a highly biocompatible, controllable, and concentration‐dependent regulator of intravitreal nanoparticle mobility in vivo in a translational large animal model. The cyclic arginine surface‐modification supports the development of next‐generation biomaterials for long‐acting ...

This study demonstrates a self‐assembly process to generate free‐standing piezoelectric nanomembranes, forming ultracompact microtubular acoustic wave sensors and actuators. The miniaturized 3D piezoelectric platform reported in this work can be applied in telecommunication, energy harvesting, and acoustofluidics. Moreover, the 3D self‐assembly can add

Large size (∼100 µm) monolayer MoS2 grown by LPI‐CVD on n‐GaN exhibit a high n‐type doping, very low strain, and a type‐I band alignment at MoS2/GaN interface. Photocurrent measurements under illumination with photon energies from ∼2 to ∼5 eV show superior electro‐optical performances of these MoS2/n‐GaN heterojunctions as compared to Ni/n‐GaN devices ...
