Engineered Chiral Plasmonic Nanocrystal Using Ferritin‐Nanocage With Tunable Circular Dichroism

Ferritin nanocage, a 12 nm protein consisting of 24 subunits wrapped together into a dense core, is employed as a template for the growth of chiral nanocrystals (NCs). The NCs were highly uniform and exhibited significant protrusions around a dense core, suggesting controlled growth pathways.
