Transport of spin-anisotropy without spin currents [PDF]
We revisit the transport of spin-degrees of freedom across an electrically and thermally biased tunnel junction between two ferromagnets with non-collinear magnetizations.

Proteinvermittelte Kupfer‐Redoxregulation: Rolle von Disulfidbrücken und allosterischer Modulation
Copper binding triggers structural changes that expose a reactive disulphide bridge, enabling intrinsic Cu(II) reduction in folded proteins. SAXS, XAS, and QM/MM simulations reveal how globular proteins such as HSA and SOD1 employ disulphide‐mediated dynamics to modulate site accessibility and control copper redox chemistry.

Since Peregrine Philips’s publication of Poetry by Richard Crashaw in 1785, literary critics have acknowledged Milton’s indebtedness to Crashaw’s “Sospetto d’Herode.” In Paradise Lost, intertextual echoes consistently testify to the fact that Milton ...

Go and Sin No More: The Afterlife as Moral Teaching in Italian Catholic Educational Theatre
Catholic religious orders that have education as part of their mission have often used visions of the afterlife in theatre productions as vehicles to transmit a message of conversion, especially to those who, because of age or illiteracy, would not ...

Extensions and further applications of the nonlocal Polyakov--Nambu--Jona-Lasinio model [PDF]
The nonlocal Polyakov-loop-extended Nambu--Jona-Lasinio (PNJL) model is further improved by including momentum-dependent wave-function renormalization in the quark quasiparticle propagator.

An osteohistological analysis of Triceratops (Ornithischia: Ceratopsidae) cranial ornamentation
Abstract Ceratopsids are among the most distinctive and well known extinct Cretaceous vertebrates, yet many details regarding the growth and composition of their cranial features are still not fully anatomically described or understood. In particular, striking cranial adornments such as the postorbital horns and parietal‐squamosal frill of Triceratops ...
