Seasonal Variations of Gastrointestinal Helminths in the Goat of the Central Plateau of Burkina Faso
Revue d’Elevage et de Médecine Vétérinaire des Pays Tropicaux, 2005 Necropsies of 60 goats were performed over a year to identify parasites in the abdominal cavity, the liver, and the digestive tube. Overall, 10 nematodes, 4 cestodes, and 2 trematodes were identified.

Veterinary Medicine and Science, Volume 10, Issue 1, January 2024.Slaughterhouse workers (n = 78) were interviewed to determine their knowledge, attitude and practices in slaughter hygiene and meat safety. Moderate‐to‐low knowledge in carcass contamination, meat‐borne illnesses, temperature interventions and poor practice in carcass washing and medical testing resulted in high worker morbidity.
