Boron‐10 carriers and their applications in boron neutron capture therapy

open access: yesPrecision Radiation Oncology, EarlyView.
Summary of different types of boron drugs. Abstract Boron neutron capture therapy (BNCT) has emerged as a promising therapeutic modality in cancer treatment, demonstrating the ability to selectively eliminate cancer cells through the 10B(n,α)7Li nuclear reaction with minimal side effects on normal tissues.

Bone Marrow Pathology in Cold Agglutinin‐Mediated Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia: A Study of 56 Cases

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Haematology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Cold agglutinin disease (CAD) is a rare form of autoimmune hemolytic anemia (AIHA). CAD occurs in the context of a small clonal B‐cell lymphoproliferation restricted to blood and/or bone marrow (BM), without overt or extramedullary lymphoma. The WHO‐HAEM5 introduced a description of the CAD‐associated lymphoproliferative disorder (CAD‐LPD) in ...

Gamma‐irradiated Newcastle disease virus: an alternative inactivated oncolytic virotherapy

open access: yesImmunology &Cell Biology, EarlyView.
To overcome biological risks associated with using live NDV as an oncolytic therapy, we developed gamma‐NDV as a safer alternative. Using a murine model for skin cancer, we show that intratumor administration of gamma‐NDV outperformed live‐NDV in terms of reducing tumor growth and improving overall animal survival. Abstract Newcastle disease virus (NDV)

Retrospective Analysis of Monkeypox Infection

open access: yesEmerging Infectious Diseases, 2008
Serologic cross-reactivity between orthopoxviruses is a substantial barrier to laboratory diagnosis of specific orthopoxvirus infections and epidemiologic characterization of disease outbreaks.

Epitopes on the peplomer protein of infectious bronchitis virus strain M41 as defined by monoclonal antibodies. [PDF]

open access: yes, 1987
Sixteen monoclonal antibodies (Mcabs) were prepared against infectious bronchitis virus strain M41, all of them reacting with the peplomer protein. One of them, Mcab 13, was able to neutralize the virus and to inhibit hemagglutination.

[Improved hemagglutination and hemagglutination inhibition tests for arboviruses].

open access: yesVoprosy virusologii, 1976
The capacity of formalinized goose erythrocytes to be agglutinated in interactions with arboviruses was studied. Formalinized goose erythrocytes were found to be as sensitive as native erythrocytes, and were used successfully for diagnosis of arbovirus infections and study of the immune structure of the human population and animals.
