Inhibition of Hemagglutinins by Amino Acids

Vox Sanguinis, 1965

Hemagglutinin of Haemophilus paragallinarum serotype 2 organisms: Occurrence and immunologic properties of hemagglutinin

American Journal of Veterinary Research, 1982
SUMMARY Hemagglutinating properties of Haemophilus paragallinarum serotype 2 and serotype C against freshly collected and glutaraldehyde (ga)-fixed chicken rbc were investigated. Different from serotype 1, the nontreated organisms of serotype 2 and serotype C lacked hemagglutinating activity.

Molecular Weight of Cold Hemagglutinins*

Vox Sanguinis, 1956

Fighting influenza through hemagglutinin diversity

Nature Immunology, 2019
A multivalent vaccine that presents diverse influenza virus subtype H1 hemagglutinins on its surface induces broadly neutralizing antibodies in an animal model by displaying conserved epitopes at higher density than strain-specific epitopes.

Helicobacter pylori Hemagglutinins

1991
Studies in the past decade on a number of mucosal surface microbial pathogens have shown that they usually colonize mucosal surfaces by binding to glycoconjugate receptors in the mucin layer of epithelial cells (Wadstrom et al. 1985). Different bacterial surface proteins (adhesins) or hair-like surface appendages (fimbriae or pili) as well as ...
