Sclerosing Angiomatoid Nodular Transformation With Characteristic Imaging Findings: A Report of Three Cases Treated by Laparoscopic Splenectomy

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 13, Issue 12, December 2025.
ABSTRACT Sclerosing angiomatoid nodular transformation is a rare benign splenic lesion that mimics malignancy on imaging. Recognition of the spoke‐wheel pattern and progressive enhancement on CT/MRI may aid in preoperative diagnosis. Laparoscopic splenectomy remains useful for both diagnosis and treatment when malignancy cannot be excluded.

Focal Nodular Hyperplasia of the Liver Mimicking Gastric Submucosal Tumor

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 13, Issue 12, December 2025.
ABSTRACT Focal nodular hyperplasia (FNH) is a common benign hepatic tumor, typically featuring a central scar with a spoke‐wheel pattern on abdominal ultrasound. This case highlights a rare presentation of FNH causing extragastric compression that mimicked a gastric submucosal tumor on esophagogastroduodenoscopy.
