Physiological parameters of freshwater stingrays from the Uatumã River Basin, Amazon, Brazil [PDF]

Knowledge of freshwater stingrays’ physiological parameters is essential for conserving elasmobranch diversity. This study aims to characterize the erythrogram and plasma biochemistry of freshwater stingrays from the Uatumã River basin for the first time.

Stimulator of interferon genes agonist augmented antitumor immunity of osimertinib in Egfr‐mutated lung cancer

Molecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining osimertinib with the STING agonist ADU‐S100 activates innate and adaptive immunity to overcome the non‐inflamed microenvironment of Egfr‐mutant lung cancer. This combination increases NK and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, associated with activation of the STING‐IRF3 pathway and local immunogenic cell death.

Loss of proton‐sensing TDAG8 increases tumor progression in mouse models of colon cancer

Loss of the pH‐sensing receptor TDAG8 accelerates colorectal cancer progression in mice. Animals lacking TDAG8 expression had increased tumor growth, DNA damage, and recruitment of tumor‐associated immune cells, including macrophages, neutrophils, and monocytes.
