Peripapillary hemorrhage

On routine examination, a 61-year-old man was found to have a deep peripapillary hemorrhage surrounding his left optic nerve head. Further examination revealed a left sixth nerve paresis, a subtle right homonymous quadrantanopia, and jerky pursuit to the left.
