Identification of Coupling Relationship between Ecosystem Services and Urbanization for Supporting Ecological Management: A Case Study on Areas along the Yellow River of Henan Province

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2022
Urbanization has an important effect on ecosystem services (ESs) and identifying the relationship between urbanization and ESs can provide a decision-making reference for regional ecological protection and management.

Tailoring K+/Vacancy Disordered Layered Oxide via Charge Engineering for Stabilizing High‐Performance Potassium‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
With a charge‐ion coupling engineering strategy, a K+/vacancy disordered K0.5Mn0.8Co0.1Ti0.1O2 material has been designed. The targeted transition metal doping disrupts charge ordering and inducing K+/vacancy disordering, thereby enabling rapid K+ diffusion through interconnected channels and a stable solid‐solution reaction mechanism.

Phylogenetic analysis of porcine circoviruses 4 in Henan Province of China: a retrospective study from 2011 to 2021.

open access: yesTransboundary and Emerging Diseases, 2021
Porcine circovirus 4 (PCV4), a novel circovirus, was first discovered in April 2019 in Hunan Province of China. At present, PCV4 infection has been detected in China and South Korea. However, until 2019, there was little information about its circulating

Crystal Growth Engineering for Dendrite‐Free Zinc Metal Plating

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This research employed the rare‐earth ion dysprosium (Dy) to modulate aqueous zinc (Zn) metal plating. Integrated multiscale experiments and computational modeling unveiled the preferential adsorption of Dy on specific crystal facets, which activated screw dislocation‐driven Zn growth.

Using CYGNSS Data to Map Flood Inundation during the 2021 Extreme Precipitation in Henan Province, China

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2021
On 20 July 2021, parts of China’s Henan Province received the highest precipitation levels ever recorded in the region. Floods caused by heavy rainfall resulted in hundreds of casualties and tens of billions of dollars’ worth of property loss. Due to the

Non‐Invasive Brain Targeted Delivery of Cannabidiol for Alleviating Neuroinflammatory Disease

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The glucose‐functionalized nanoparticles (GNPs) are developed for the brain‐targeted delivery of cannabidiol (CBD). GNPs bypass the blood‐brain barrier (BBB) via glucose transporter‐1 (GLUT‐1) and release CBD in response to reactive oxygen species (ROS).

A Case Study of the “7-20” Extreme Rainfall and Flooding Event in Zhengzhou, Henan Province, China from the Perspective of Fragmentation

open access: yesWater, 2022
Disaster crisis management is the last defensive line in the face of extreme rainstorm disasters. However, fragmentation undermines the effectiveness of disaster crisis management, and the “7-20” extreme rainfall flooding disaster in Zhengzhou, Henan ...

Insights Into Degradation Pathways of Perovskite Thin Films under Outdoor and Indoor Conditions: A Comparative Analysis

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
This study compares indoor low‐light and outdoor high‐light degradation in perovskite thin films. Under ∼1000 lux [N2], films remain stable; in oxygen, the same low light triggers strain, surface oxidation, and shorter lifetimes. Whereas high light accelerates decomposition to PbI2 and metallic oxides.
