Liver biopsy was carried out in 35 cases of disseminated tuberculosis. Seventeen percent showed evidence of tubercle on liver and was noted more often in miliary tuberculosis (33%), tuberculous meningitis (26%) and in tuberculous bronchopneumonia (15%).
