Hepatocarcinoma: estado actual

δ-Aminolevulinic acid cytotoxic effects on human hepatocarcinoma cell lines [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
BACKGROUND: Acute Intermittent Porphyria is a genetic disorder of heme metabolism, characterized by increased levels of porphyrin precursors, delta-aminolevulinic acid (ALA) and porphobilinogen (PBG).

Immune Predictors of Radiotherapy Outcomes in Cervical Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study reveals dynamic immune remodeling in cervical cancer following radiotherapy. Single‐cell analysis identifies the C3/C3AR1 axis as a central mediator of epithelial–myeloid crosstalk, whose inhibition reduces treatment efficacy in mice. Guided by these insights, the eight‐feature machine‐learning model: Cervical Cancer Radiotherapy Immune ...

Bidirectional interaction of lncRNA AFAP1-AS1 and CRKL accelerates the proliferative and metastatic abilities of hepatocarcinoma cells

open access: yesJournal of Advanced Research, 2020
Actin filament-associated protein 1 antisense RNA 1 (AFAP1-AS1), a long non-coding RNA transcribed from the antisense strand of protein coding gene AFAP1, has attracted attention in cancer research.

CHB‐Induced Immune Zonation Chaos Elicited LXRα‐mediated Lipid Metabolism Disorders in Kupffer Cells to Induce Cancer Stem Cell Formation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
By profiling the spatiotemporal hepatic landscape of CHB mouse models, the originally peri‐portal localized KCs migrated to the peri‐central in a CXCL9‐CXCR3‐dependent manner, facilitating their interaction with HBV+ hepatocytes. The interaction promoted LMD in KCs through ASGR1‐induced LXRα degradation, which, in turn, induced CSC formation via Stat3 ...

Exacerbation of Anti-Cytomegalovirus Immunity and Mobilization of γ9δ1 T Cells During the Acute Phase of Hepatitis E Virus Infection. [PDF]

open access: yesMicrobiol Immunol
ABSTRACT HEV causes chronic infections that are detrimental to immunocompromised patients. Previous studies showed alterations of γδ T cell subsets at the acute phase of HEV infection. To assess a possible role of CMV, we have examined the frequencies and responses to CMV and HEV of blood γδ T cell subsets from control donors and acute‐phase HEV ...

Elemene Augments the Effects of Anti‐PD‐1 Immunotherapy on Hepatocellular Carcinoma by Regulating the miR‐130a‐5p/SPP/MHC‐I Axis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Elemene increases SPP expression by competitively binding with miR‐130a‐5p to suppress SPP mRNA degradation. This led to more antigen/MHC‐I complexes being expressed on the cell surface, which consequently facilitated the recognition and killing of HCC cells by CTLs and enhancing the antitumor immune efficacy of anti‐PD‐1.
