Glutamine Deprivation Triggers Tribbles Homolog 3 Dependent G‐Quadruplex Resolution to Maintain DNA Repair and Tumor Survival

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Glutamine deprivation triggers transient DNA damage yet activates adaptive repair in hepatocellular carcinoma cells. We identify TRIB3 as a stress‐induced nuclear scaffold that associates with DDX5 and G‐quadruplex DNA atBRCA1 andRAD51AP1 promoters. TRIB3 loss increases G4 accumulation, suppresses HR gene transcription, elevates γ‐H2A.X, and sensitizes

Isorhamnetin induces ROS-dependent cycle arrest at G2/M phase and apoptosis in human hepatocarcinoma Hep3B cells.

open access: yesGeneral Physiology and Biophysics, 2019
Isorhamnetin is a 3'-O-methylated metabolite of quercetin that is found predominantly in a variety of medicinal plants. Although many previous studies have reported that this flavonol has diverse health-promoting effects, evidence for the underlying ...

Nanomedicine Meets Immunotherapy: Advancing Adoptive Cell Therapy with Nanoparticles in the Treatment of Cancer with Sustainability Perspectives

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This review surveys nanoparticle‐based strategies to enhance adoptive cell therapy, particularly CAR‐T cell approaches, in solid tumor treatment. It describes how nanoparticles can improve tumor immunogenicity and T‐cell infiltration while reducing toxicity, and how they enable in vivo CAR‐T cell generation.

Human amniotic membrane conditioned medium inhibits proliferation and modulates related microRNAs expression in hepatocarcinoma cells

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2019
The placental stem cells have called the focus of attention for their therapeutic potential to treat different diseases, including cancer. There is plenty evidence about the antiproliferative, antiangiogenic and proapoptotic properties of the amniotic ...

Optimization and Characterization of Aspirin‐ and Ibuprofen‐Loaded Lipid‐Based Nanoparticle Synthesis for Antibacterial Activity and Cytotoxic Effect

open access: yesAsia-Pacific Journal of Chemical Engineering, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Lipid‐based nanoparticles (LNPs) are favored for drug delivery because of their low toxicity, high biocompatibility, ability to self‐assemble into nanoparticles, and ability to enhance drug bioavailability, thereby improving drug release modulation and pharmacokinetics.

Cucurbitacin B Inhibits Hepatocellular Carcinoma by Inducing Ferroptosis and Activating the cGAS-STING Pathway

open access: yesCurrent Issues in Molecular Biology
The incidence of primary liver cancer is increasing annually, with extremely high mortality and suboptimal therapeutic outcomes. The inefficient presentation of tumor antigens and low infiltration of specific cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTLs) result in ...
