Oxythioquinox, administered in solution in the dietary lipids at 400 mg/kg fresh food for 21 days, caused liver hypertrophy with severe steatosis. The levels of liver triglycerides increased 40-fold, phospholipids 2-fold and cholesterol 7-fold respectively.
