The bio‐guided phytochemical study resulted in the new compound 17‐epi‐melianodiol. This study reveals that tropical butterfly communities show remarkably consistent elevational patterns of diversity and phylogenetic structure across regions with contrasting evolutionary histories, demonstrating how regional species pools and local ecological factors jointly shape biodiversity along altitudinal gradients.
