Non-triazine photosystem II inhibitors provide effective control of metabolic atrazine-resistant Amaranthus tuberculatus. [PDF]
Metabolism‐based atrazine‐resistant Amaranthus tuberculatus populations ACR and MCR exhibit little or no cross‐resistance to amicarbazone and metribuzin, suggesting that non‐halogenated Group 5 herbicides can be utilized to re‐establish effective control.

Framework for an expert evaluation for the evolution of weed resistance
The apparent rate of evolution of resistance of weeds to herbicides has increased substantially over the past decade. Data suggests phenotypic expression is affected by the mechanism of action of the herbicide, the taxonomy of the weed, the extent and ...

Abstract Post‐harvest agricultural residues in Latin America are commonly underutilized, leading to greenhouse gas emissions and lost opportunities for bio‐based value creation. This study tests the hypothesis that decentralized, farmer‐scale pyrolysis technologies can deliver comparable agronomic benefits while exhibiting distinct techno‐economic and ...

Dynamics of biotic resistance to plant invasions
ABSTRACT Biotic resistance, the reduction in invasion success caused by native communities, plays an important role in the long‐term dynamics of biological invasions. A large body of empirical research on biotic resistance has accumulated since the last comprehensive review on the subject 20 years ago, enabling us to achieve a refined understanding of ...
