AN INNOVATIVE METHOD TO EVALUATE THE IMPACT OF TEMPERATURE ON IODOSULFURON-METHYL SELECTIVITY TO OAT CROP [PDF]
Temperature affects the selectivity of post-emergence herbicides in a complex manner. The objective of this work was to develop a method to estimate the impact of temperature on herbicide selectivity using the white oat (Avena sativa) crop and ...

Minimum Inhibitory Concentration of Glyphosate and a Glyphosate-Containing Herbicide in Salmonella enterica Isolates Originating from Different Time Periods, Hosts, and Serovars [PDF]
Glyphosate, the active compound of Roundup, is one of the most used pesticides in the world. Its residues are often detected in animal feed, but the impact on the animal gut microbiota and on pathogens of the intestine has not intensively been ...

Hydrodynamics Alter the Tolerance of Autotrophic Biofilm Communities Toward Herbicides
Multiple stressors pose potential risk to aquatic ecosystems and are the main reasons for failing ecological quality standards. However, mechanisms how multiple stressors act on aquatic community structure and functioning are poorly understood.

Genetic Basis of Direct Seeding Adaptability in Rice and its Breeding Strategy
Rice is one of the most important food crops in the world. With the decrease of rural labor force and the rapid increase of labor cost, rice production is shifting from transplanting to direct seeding.

Bioenergy Cropping Reduces the Spatiotemporal Scaling of Soil Bacterial Biodiversity
Consistent with patterns observed in plant and animal communities, soil bacterial communities exhibit significant species–time–area and phylogenetic–time–area relationships independent of nested structure. Bioenergy cropping significantly reduces the spatiotemporal scaling rates, particularly in sandy loam soils.
