Grazing and climate interact to regulate greening trends in Mediterranean grasslands
Our results show that traditional grazing systems can maintain grassland stability without causing degradation, but they can also increase the ecosystem's vulnerability to climate change. We provide clear evidence that GPS‐based livestock monitoring is a powerful and scalable tool for sustainable rangeland management.

A lagarta Spodoptera frugiperda causa perdas significativas na produção de biomassa e grãos de milho. Altas diluições dinamizadas podem atuar como substâncias indutoras de resistência das plantas aos insetos. Este estudo avaliou as alterações bioquímicas

Treeline advance under warming occurs only when multiple filters align—adequate seed supply, favourable microclimatic windows, moderated herbivory and shrub effects that remain facilitative rather than competitive. Abstract Climate warming is expected to increase upslope shifts of alpine treelines globally.

Factores que modelan el patrón de minación de hojas en el arbusto Azara microphylla
La actividad de los herbívoros puede depender tanto de las características de los recursos como de las interacciones con otros organismos que dañan las hojas.

ABSTRACT Given the importance of soil conditions for ecosystem functioning, fertilisation experiments are a valuable tool for assessing how systems respond to changes in soil properties. However, the effects of changes in nutrient availability on multitrophic interactions in savannah ecosystems of the Brazilian Cerrado are still scarce. We investigated

The authors demonstrate how the effects of herbivory on a key plant trait can cascade to shape the interactions between individual plants and their flower visitors and how the indirect effects between herbivores and pollinators can modulate the structure of interaction networks in terrestrial ecosystems.

A first herbivore attack primes direct and indirect defences of newly formed oak leaves and, the specific display of defence priming is regulated by rhythmic growth, and modulated by the interaction with the ectomycorrhizal fungus Piloderma croceum. Therefore, the priming memory in oaks can be transmitted to the next growth cycle. GC, growth cycle; SF,
