The Hermite Equation and the Generalised Laplace Transform
ZAMM - Journal of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics / Zeitschrift für Angewandte Mathematik und Mechanik, 1997AbstractThe second order Laplace equation (i.e. the linear o.d.e. with linear coefficients) may be reduced to one of a number of standard forms. One of these is the Hermite equation which has hitherto been thought not to be treatable by the Laplace transform. This is true because the defining integral for that transform diverges in this case.

Hermite Transform Based Operators for Orientation Estimation
2009 Fifth International Conference on Image and Graphics, 2009This paper addresses the problem of the orientation estimation. Basing on the present operator sets dedicated to the orientation estimation, we propose another approach to implement these operators. The approach is based on the Hermite transform and uses the filter functions of certain order to implement the gradient operators and the valleyness ...

Motion magnification using the Hermite transform
SPIE Proceedings, 2015We present an Eulerian motion magnification technique with a spatial decomposition based on the Hermite Transform (HT). We compare our results to the approach presented in.1 We test our method in one sequence of the breathing of a newborn baby and on an MRI left ventricle sequence.

Image fusion with the multiscale Hermite transform
SPIE Proceedings, 2006The steered multiscale Hermite transform is introduced as a tool for image fusion. It is shown how this transform's particular characteristics, closely related to important visual perception properties, efficiently reproduce relevant image structures in the fused products. Two cases of remote sensing image fusion are presented, namely multispectral

Hermite transformation and the expansion of normalized convolution
Journal of Soviet Mathematics, 1983The article focuses on the computation of the coefficients of infinite-dimensional Edgeworth expansion. A method based on the Hermite transformation leads to explicit expressions for these coefficients in some cases.

Transformation Properties of Hermite–Gaussian Functions
The Journal of Chemical Physics, 1971Transformation properties of Hermite–Gaussian functions against the rotation in the xy plane are considered. The formulas obtained can be used to make the basis set in a variational approach more flexible, and to improve the convergence.

The Evolution of Hermite Transform in Biomedical Applications
2010In this chapter authors proposed an new techniques for conversion from continuous signal and images to digital form. This chapter is also try to explain a new method of generating a discrete version of the continuous Hermite functions to biomedical signals and images that are digital. The process is computationally simple,
