Recent optical approaches for anatomical and functional dissection of neuron–astrocyte circuitry
Abstract figure legend This review summarises novel optical approaches to deciphering structural and functional wiring diagrams of neuron–astrocyte circuits in the brain. There are three groups: the anatomical proximity assay, transsynaptic viral tracing and the functional connection assay. The FRET‐based neuron–astrocyte proximity assay allows mapping

MR analysis evaluates the bidirectional causal relationships between 91 circulating inflammatory proteins and NDDs, contingent upon three critical hypotheses: (1) Correlation hypothesis: SNPs must be strongly correlated with the exposure; (2) Independence hypothesis: SNPs should not be associated with any potential confounding factors; (3) Exclusivity ...

ABSTRACT Background Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is characterized by a unique tumor microenvironment (TME) that plays pivotal roles in cancer progression, angiogenesis, metastasis, and drug resistance. This complex and dynamic ecosystem comprises cancer cells, stromal cells, and extracellular matrix (ECM) components, which interact ...

Effective Treatment of Livedoid Vasculopathy With Oral Tofacitinib
ABSTRACT We present a woman with severe refractory livedoid vasculopathy who was successfully treated with tofacitinib (5 mg twice a day). The ulcers gradually healed over a period of 2–3 months without experiencing any adverse events over a 1‐year follow‐up period.
