Keeping track of biodiversity in agricultural landscapes: New roles for farmers and naturalists in pollinator monitoring

open access: yesPeople and Nature, EarlyView.
Abstract The decline in biodiversity, particularly in agricultural landscapes, is a pressing global challenge. Monitoring is vital to assess biodiversity trends and conservation effectiveness, yet farmland remains underinvestigated. Engaging farmers and encouraging naturalists to take on new roles could help expand monitoring efforts and strengthen ...

Hesitant Fuzzy Filters in BE-algebras

open access: yesInternational Journal of Computational Intelligence Systems, 2016
In this paper, we introduce the notion of hesitant fuzzy (implicative) filters and get some results on BE-algebras and show that every hesitant fuzzy implicative filter is a hesitant fuzzy filter but not the converse.

Distance Measures for Multiple-Attributes Decision-Making Based on Connection Numbers of Set Pair Analysis With Dual Hesitant Fuzzy Sets

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
Dual hesitant fuzzy sets (DHFSs) is the refinement and extension of hesitant fuzzy sets and encompasses fuzzy sets, intuitionistic fuzzy sets, hesitant fuzzy sets, and fuzzy multisets as a special case.

Carbon Performance in Airlines: A Qualitative Comparative Analysis of Institutional and Firm‐Level Drivers

open access: yesSustainable Development, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Air transport is one of the fastest‐growing sources of greenhouse gas emissions, yet it remains one of the most difficult sectors to decarbonize. The sector's climate impact is amplified by two factors: the steady rise in passenger demand and the absence of commercially viable low‐carbon technologies for long‐haul flights.

The Nexus Between Circular Economy and Sustainable Supply Chain Management: PRISMA Methodology

open access: yesSustainable Development, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The intersection of sustainable supply chain management (SSCM) and circular economy (CE) has attracted increasing academic and practical attention, emphasizing the need for integrated sustainability approaches. This study employs the PRISMA protocol and conceptualizes the CE–SSCM relationship as a dynamic system in which internal capabilities,

Reframing FDI Motivations Through OLIP: Explaining Private Engagement for Sustainable Development in PPPs

open access: yesSustainable Development, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The drivers of firms' participation in fragile markets have become increasingly complex. Under such conditions, the conventional explanation focusing on incentives within the OLI framework—ownership, location, and internalization advantages—proves insufficient.

Industry 5.0 for Sustainable Healthcare Services: Analyzing the Prospects and Obstacles for the Indian Healthcare System

open access: yesSustainable Development, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The fifth industrial revolution (I5.0), which is based on the utilization of interconnected data for efficient resource usage in meeting human requirements, proposes efficient solutions to resource constraint situations. However, the transition to I5.0 in the health sector is not easy and has to face several obstacles.
