Blood Biomarkers and Surface‐Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy for Gout: A Comprehensive Review
Schematic illustrating gout disease progression from asymptomatic hyperuricemia to chronic tophaceous disease, highlighting the limitations of conventional imaging and biochemical diagnostics and the potential of engineered SERS platforms for ultrasensitive blood‐based detection of urate‐related biomarkers across disease stages, with the color gradient

Some sigmatropic rearrangements of polyfluoroaromatic and heteroaromatic compounds [PDF]
This Thesis describes some [3,3] and [2,3] -sigmatropic rearrangements that can occur in a variety of polyfluoroaromatic and -heteroaromatic compounds. The presence of fluorine on the aromatic moiety precludes the normal rearomatization process. The

We present a novel proteolysis‐targeting chimera (PROTAC) system conjugated to lipoic acid gold nanoclusters (PLANC), designed to degrade pTau, regulate inflammatory signaling, and effectively traverse the blood‐brain barrier (BBB). PLANC degraded pTau at various phosphorylation sites, with mechanistic studies confirming proteasome‐mediated degradation

Integrated Visible Light and Oxidant Protection Through Multifunctional Sunscreens
High‐energy visible radiation (HEVR), although less energetic than UV light, penetrates deeper into the skin and contributes to photoaging, pigmentation disorders, and oxidative stress. The development of new HEVR‐targeted filters, therefore, represents not only a scientific challenge but also a pressing public health and cosmetic industry need.

Highly functionalised fused heterocycle synthesis from fluoropyridines [PDF]
Current approaches to drug discovery tends to involve the rapid analogue synthesis and testing of small, focused libraries of low molecular weight, structurally similar "drug-like" molecules, often based around heterocyclic core scaffolds.

Pharmacokinetic engineering of clickable radioligands was achieved via albumin hitchhiking approach within a pretargeted radiotheranostics delivery platform. This approach reduced rapid renal elimination, expanded bioorthogonal capture window, boosted tumor uptake by ∼3.5‐fold, and improved the tumor‐to‐liver ratio by ∼6‐fold.

Phase Engineering of Atomically Precise Nanoclusters (APNCs) of Gold and Beyond
Engineering the structural phase of materials is of paramount importance for both fundamental research and practical applications. In this Review, we summarize the recent progress in controlling the phases of atomically precise nanoclusters (APNCs) of gold, silver and copper, as well as bimetallic systems. The phase‐enabled material properties of APNCs
