Distribution of Heterodera glycines Races in Illinois.
Because the race scheme for Heterodera glycines was expanded recently from 5 to 16 races, the occurrence and distribution of races in Illinois need clarification. Forty-four populations of H. glycines were collected from sites in 23 of the 88 infested counties.

Influence of actinomycete isolates on cereal cyst nematode heterodera filipjevi juvenile motility [PDF]
The effects of 126 actinomycete isolates were investigated in vitro on the motility of the second stage juveniles of the cereal cyst nematode, Heterodera filipjevi Madzhidow. Among them, isolate 3208 inhibited the motility of juveniles by 56.6% more than

Variability in Race Tests with Heterodera glycines.
Tests of Heterodera glycines on differential host plants to determine races were run in Arkansas, Illinois, and North Carolina to check the uniformity of results of the test. Methods used at the three locations varied somewhat. Results indicate that the race test is highly variable.

Possible Transfer of Resistance to Heterodera glycines from Glycine tomentella to Glycine max.
Eight wild perennial Glycine species (G. argyrea, G. canescens, G. curvata, G. cyrtoloba, G. latifolia, G. microphylla, G. tabacina, and G. tomentella) were evaluated for resistance to isolates of races 1, 3, and 14 of Heterodera glycines. In a second experiment, reproduction of isolates of races 3, 5, and 14 of H.
