Heterogeneous Expectations and Bond Markets [PDF]

open access: yesReview of Financial Studies, 2009
This paper presents a dynamic equilibrium model of bond markets in which two groups of agents hold heterogeneous expectations about future economic conditions. The heterogeneous expectations cause agents to take on speculative positions against each other and therefore generate endogenous relative wealth fluctuation.

The Supply of Storage under Heterogeneous Expectations [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Agricultural and Applied Economics, 1999
AbstractExpected prices for storable commodities often lie below spot prices plus interest and marginal storage charges. Recently this gap has been explained as the value of a call option held by a representative storer whenever a positive probability exists that stocks could dwindle to zero.

When building machine translation systems, one often needs to make the best out of heterogeneous sets of parallel data in training, and to robustly handle inputs from unexpected domains in testing. This multi-domain scenario has attracted a lot of recent

Misperceptions, Heterogeneous Expectations and Macroeconomic Dynamics [PDF]

open access: yesSSRN Electronic Journal, 2012
We investigate the extent to which misperceptions about the economy can become self-reinforcing and thereby contribute to time-varying macroeconomic dynamics. To do so, we build a New Keynesian model with long-horizon expectations and dynamic predictor selection.
