Ascocotyle longa (Digenea: Heterophyidae) infecting dolphins from the Atlantic Ocean
Parasitology Research, 2020 We report for the first time the infection of dolphins with Ascocotyle longa found in the intestines of three different species, Sotalia guianensis, Steno bredanensis, and Tursiops truncatus gephyreus, which were found washed ashore along the southeastern and southern Brazilian coast.

Four Human Cases of Acanthotrema felis (Digenea: Heterophyidae) Infection in Korea
The Korean Journal of Parasitology, 2014 Acanthotrema felis is an intestinal trematode of cats originally reported from the Republic of Korea. Only 1 human case infected with a single adult worm has been previously recorded. In the present study, we report 4 human cases infected with a total of 10 worms recovered after anthelmintic treatment and purging. All 4 patients reside in coastal areas

The first discovery of an endemic focus of Heterophyes nocens (Heterophyidae) infection in Korea
The Korean Journal of Parasitology, 1994 A highly endemic focus of human infection with Heterophyes nocens (Heterophyidae) was discovered from a small coastal village of Shinan-gun, Chollanam-do, for the first time in Korea. Fecal examinations by cellophane thick smear and formalin-ether sedimentation techniques revealed 42.9% heterophyid egg positive rate out of 98 inhabitants examined.
