Truncated dopamine transporter's epigenetics: Heterozigosity of the grandmother rat temperates the vulnerable phenotype in second‐generation offspring

International Journal of Developmental Neuroscience, 2022
AbstractBehavioral phenotype differs among epigenotypes of dopamine‐transporter heterozygous (DAT‐HET) rats. Epigenetic regulations act through transgenerational effects, referring to phenotypic variations emerging at second or third generation. To investigate transgenerational influences exerted by maternal grandmothers, we developed breeding schemes ...

INTEROBSERVER AGREEMENT IN ORAL DYSPLASIA GRADING, ASSOCIATED WITH PROTEIN EXPRESSION AND LOSS OF HETEROZIGOSITY

Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine, Oral Pathology and Oral Radiology, 2020
Oral leukoplakia (OL) may precede squamous cell carcinoma and its histologic grading is subjective. Loss of heterozygosity (LOH) has been reported as risk predictor of OL malignant transformation. Objective: Correlate histologic and immunohistochemical characteristics of OL and evaluate molecular aspects, aiming at to demonstrate their malignant ...

Abstract P2-09-04: Reclassification of variant of unknown significance in BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes based on loss of heterozigosity assay

Cancer Research, 2020
Abstract Variants of unknown significance (VUS) occur in approximately 10% of BRCA1 and BRCA2 genetic testing. Definition of VUS as pathogenic or of benign potential is a crucial step in the reporting and counseling process. Thus limiting the clinical utility of a genetic test and impairs the correct patient management.

Loss of heterozigosity of the tumor-suppressor gene p53 in renal cell carcinoma

1999
