Towards Heuristic Algorithmic Memory [PDF]
We propose a long-term memory design for artificial general intelligence based on Solomonoff's incremental machine learning methods. We introduce four synergistic update algorithms that use a Stochastic Context-Free Grammar as a guiding probability distribution of programs.

An Opposition-Based Chaotic Salp Swarm Algorithm for Global Optimization
The salp swarm algorithm (SSA) is a bio-heuristic optimization algorithm proposed in 2017. It has been proved that SSA has competitive results compared to several other well-known meta-heuristic algorithms on various optimization problem.

Iterated-greedy-based algorithms with beam search initialization for the permutation flowshop to minimize total tardiness [PDF]
The permutation flow shop scheduling problem is one of the most studied operations research related problems. Literally, hundreds of exact and approximate algorithms have been proposed to optimise several objective functions. In this paper we address the

A tabu search heuristic for the Equitable Coloring Problem [PDF]
The Equitable Coloring Problem is a variant of the Graph Coloring Problem where the sizes of two arbitrary color classes differ in at most one unit. This additional condition, called equity constraints, arises naturally in several applications.
