Electronic structures of hexagonal RMnO3 (R = Gd, Tb, Dy, and Ho) thin films
We investigated the electronic structure of multiferroic hexagonal RMnO3 (R = Gd, Tb, Dy, and Ho) thin films using both optical spectroscopy and first-principles calculations.

This work explores Li‐substituted P2 layered oxides for Na‐ion batteries by crystallographic and electrochemical studies. The effect of lithium on superstructure orderings, on phase transitions during synthesis and electrochemical cycling and on the interplay of O‐ versus TM‐redox is revealed via various advanced techniques, including semi‐simultaneous

On the number of hexagonal polyominoes
A combination of the refined finite lattice method and transfer allows a radical increase in the computer enumeration of polyominoes on the hexagonal lattice (equivalently, site clusters on the triangular lattice), \(p_n\), with \(n\) hexagons. In this paper the authors obtain \(p_n\) for \(n\leq 35\).

Biofabrication aims at providing innovative technologies and tools for the fabrication of tissue‐like constructs for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine applications. By integrating multiple biofabrication technologies, such as 3D (bio) printing with fiber fabrication methods, it would be more realistic to reconstruct native tissue's ...

The maximum forcing number of polyomino [PDF]
The forcing number of a perfect matching $M$ of a graph $G$ is the cardinality of the smallest subset of $M$ that is contained in no other perfect matchings of $G$.

We consider defect mediated melting of Fulde-Ferrell-Larkin-Ovchinnikov (FFLO) and pair density wave (PDW) phases in two dimensions. Examining mean-field ground states in which the spatial oscillations of the FFLO/PDW superfluid order parameter exhibit ...

Controlled syntheses of lanthanide coordination polymers based on the dihydroxybenzoquinone (DHBQ) organic linker afforded large single crystals of Ln‐DHBQ CPs (Ln = Yb, Nd). A novel structural variant of Yb‐DHBQ is identified by means of single crystal diffraction analysis.
