Growth‐Pathway‐Controlled van der Waals Epitaxy of Phase‐Selective Tin Sulfides
Growth‐pathway‐controlled van der Waals epitaxy enables deterministic phase selection and strain engineering in tin sulfide/WSe2 heterostructures. Direct growth of SnS induces substrate‐mediated strain and phase evolution, whereas sequential growth through an SnS2 buffer suppresses strain transfer and stabilizes pristine α‐SnS, revealing a versatile ...

Displaying and Scaling Color Images on Hexagonal Grids
Images scaling is a very common capability on rectangular grid. Similarly, its development on hexagonal grid is very fundamental and necessary. In this paper, we developed new techniques to scale digital image with resampling and without resampling. From

ABSTRACT Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) remains largely incurable due to the blood‐brain barrier (BBB) and immunosuppressive microenvironment. While boron neutron capture therapy (BNCT) selectively eradicates tumor cells via 10B(n, α)‐7Li reactions, its clinical potential in GBM is unrealized because of the suboptimal pharmacokinetics of conventional ...

Highly Stabilized Ni‐Rich Cathodes Enabled by Artificially Reversing Naturally‐Formed Interface
The application of Ni‐rich cathode materials is obstructed by interfacial and structural instability. This work proposes a facile and cost‐effective Al‐based vapor‐phase surface reaction strategy on Ni‐rich cathode to maintain its structural integrity from near‐surface to bulk.

Non-square grids: A new trend in imaging and modeling?
The raster format of images and data is commonly intended as a synonymous of a square grid. Indeed, the square is not the only shape that can tessellate the plane.

Degradation Mechanism of Phosphate‐Based Li‐NASICON Conductors in Alkaline Environment
The presence of water in the cathode of a Li‐air battery shifts reactions to produce LiOH, creating a corrosive, alkaline environment. This study investigates the alkaline stability of the common Li‐NASICON solid‐state conductor chemistries through a systematic experimental study combined with computational modeling to understand the degradation ...

Shear based Bijective Digital Rotation in Hexagonal Grids
In this paper, a new bijective digital rotation algorithm for the hexagonal grid is proposed. The method is based on an original decomposition of rotations into shear transforms. It works for any angle with an hexagonal centroid as rotation center and is

This review provides a bottom‐up evaluation of sodium‐ion battery safety, linking material degradation mechanisms, cell engineering parameters, and module/pack assembly. It emphasizes that understanding intrinsic material stability and establishing coordinated engineering control across hierarchical levels are vital for preventing degradation coupling ...

Boron‐oxide‐assisted particle engineering stabilizes O3‐type layered cathodes for sodium‐ion batteries by mitigating phase transitions and lattice strain. Acting as flux and structural modifier, boron forms submicron hexagonal platelets with (003) facets and expanded Na‐layer spacing, enabling rapid Na⁺ diffusion and mechanical resilience.

Universal Oxychlorination Strategy in Halide Solid Electrolytes for All‐Solid‐State Batteries
A WO2Cl2‐driven oxychlorination strategy enables bulk oxygen incorporation into close‐packed LixMCl6 (M = Zr, Y, Er, In) halide lattices. Oxygen is selectively anchored by W6+ as lattice‐integrated [WO2Cl4]2− units, regulating the anionic framework, diversifying Li coordination, and weakening Li–Cl interactions.
