HgCdTe sampling circuit

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 1990
The demonstration, using HgCdTe MISFETs, of a sampling circuit with output buffer amplifier is reported. Using the circuit, correlated double sampling is demonstrated at speeds typical of those required for focal plane arrays. Using a swept sine input, the circuit's transfer function is verified.

PbS colloidal quantum dots imagers: From single devices to arrays, flexible platforms, and CMOS‐integrated systems

open access: yesFlexMat, EarlyView.
Abstract Imagers operating in the visible to near‐infrared (NIR) range play an important role in applications such as industrial sorting, security surveillance, and autonomous driving. However, conventional imaging technologies based on silicon and III–V semiconductors suffer from several limits, including restricted spectral range, high fabrication ...

DRIFT EFFECTS IN HGCDTE DETECTORS [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Engineering Science and Technology, 2013
The characteristics of temporal drift in spectral responsivity of HgCdTe photodetectors is investigated and found to have an origin different from what has been reported in literature.

nBn HgCdTe infrared detector with HgTe(HgCdTe)/CdTe SLs barrier [PDF]

open access: yesOptical and Quantum Electronics, 2016
Several strategies have been implemented to improve the performance of infrared single pixel detectors at higher operating temperature condition. The most efficient and effective in HgCdTe technology are: non-equilibrium architectures and currently an idea of the barrier detector to include unipolar and complementary structures.

Overcoming spectral limits of perovskite photodetectors for the infrared region

open access: yesInfoScience, EarlyView.
Infrared (IR) photodetectors are vital for modern optoelectronics, but traditional inorganic semiconductors face limitations in cost, processing, and bandgap tunability. This review provides a summary of advanced strategies to extend metal halide perovskites into the IR region, categorizing approaches into intrinsic material engineering, physical ...

Kinetic Study on the Reaction of Phenylperoxy Radicals With Nitric Oxide

open access: yesInternational Journal of Chemical Kinetics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Cavity ring‐down spectroscopy (CRDS) and quantum cascade laser absorption spectroscopy (QCLAS), in conjunction with pulsed laser photolysis, were employed to investigate the reaction between phenylperoxy radicals (C6H5O2) and nitric oxide (NO) at a temperature of 296 ± 4 K. The experiment was carried out under N2 as bath gas.

Tunable, High Pulse Energy and Narrow Linewidth Gas‐Filled Fiber Laser Across Near‐ and Mid‐Infrared

open access: yesLaser &Photonics Reviews, EarlyView.
A cascaded gas‐filled anti‐resonant hollow‐core fiber architecture enables broadly tunable infrared Raman lasers spanning ∼1.4–4.6 µm while maintaining microjoule‐level pulse energies and gigahertz‐level linewidths. The approach combines a wavelength‐tunable pump laser with optimized Raman frequency conversion, providing a compact route to high ...

Molecularly Mediated Assembly of Metal Nanoparticles With Multifunctional Interfaces for Selective Detection of Small Gas Molecules

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
This work demonstrates a conceptual framework of three types of cooperative interaction pathways in molecularly assembled nanoparticle chemiresistors. Their relative contributions depend on nanoparticle composition, linker chemistry, film architecture, and analyte identity, modulating the effective tunneling barrier (Φ), interparticle spacing (d), and ...

Long‐Wavelength Infrared InAs/GaSb T2SLs on Silicon: A Review

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, Volume 7, Issue 8, August 2026.
This review summarises growth techniques for GaSb/GaAs/Si wafers, compares different growth techniques for GaSb buffer on GaAs wafers, LWIR InAs/GaSb T2SLs on InAs, GaSb, and GaAs wafers and proposes the buffer design for the growth of LWIR InAs/GaSb T2SLs on Si wafers, shown in the schematic.

An Ultrafast Time Resolved Infrared and Computational Study of the Photochemistry of Ethyl 2‐Diazo‐3,3,3‐Trifluoropropanoate (CF3CN2CO2Et)

open access: yesJournal of Physical Organic Chemistry, Volume 39, Issue 8, August 2026.
The photochemistry of ethyl 2‐diazo‐3,3,3‐trifluoropropanoate shows that its excited singlet state undergoes internal conversion, carbene formation, and diazirine formation. The resulting singlet carbene reacts through solvent‐dependent pathways, forming ylides in methanol and acetonitrile or a C–Cl insertion product in chloroform.
