Evolutionary identification of hidden chaotic attractors

Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence, 2016
In this participation we discuss the possibility of mutual fusion of evolutionary algorithms and deterministic chaos. As demonstrated in previous research papers, evolutionary algorithms are capable of chaotic system control, identification or synthesis and vice versa, chaos can be observed in the evolutionary dynamics.

Hidden Attractors with Conditional Symmetry

International Journal of Bifurcation and Chaos, 2020
By introducing an absolute value function for polarity balance, some new examples of chaotic systems with conditional symmetry are constructed that have hidden attractors. Coexisting oscillations along with bifurcations are investigated by numerical simulation and circuit implementation. Such new cases enrich the gallery of hidden chaotic attractors of

Extreme Multistability and Extreme Events in a Novel Chaotic Circuit with Hidden Attractors

International Journal of Bifurcation and Chaos in Applied Sciences and Engineering, 2023
Extreme multistable systems can show vibrant dynamical properties and infinitely many coexisting attractors generated by changing the initial conditions while the system and its parameters remain unchanged.

Coexistence of Hidden Attractors in the Smooth Cubic Chua’s Circuit with Two Stable Equilibria

International Journal of Bifurcation and Chaos in Applied Sciences and Engineering, 2023
Since the invention of Chua’s circuit, numerous generalizations based on the substitution of the nonlinear function have been reported. One of the generalizations is obtained by substituting cubic nonlinearity for piece-wise linear (PWL) nonlinearity ...

Saddle-node bifurcation of periodic orbit route to hidden attractors.

Physical Review E, 2023
Hidden attractors are present in many nonlinear dynamical systems and are not associated with equilibria, making them difficult to locate. Recent studies have demonstrated methods of locating hidden attractors, but the route to these attractors is still ...

Finite-time synchronization of fractional-order chaotic system based on hidden attractors

Physica Scripta, 2023
A new 3D fractional-order chaotic system is obtained by improving the Sprott-A system and introducing the definition of fractional calculus to it. Then the new system is certified to be chaotic by studying and analyzing the phase diagram, Lyapunov ...

Controlling Dynamics of Hidden Attractors

International Journal of Bifurcation and Chaos, 2015
Amplitude death (AD) in hidden attractors is attained with a scheme of linear augmentation. This linear control scheme is capable of stabilizing the system to a fixed point state even when the original system does not have any fixed point. Depending on the control parameter, different routes to AD such as boundary crises and Hopf bifurcation are ...

A new four-dimensional hyperchaotic system with hidden attractors and multistablity

Physica Scripta, 2023
This paper proposes a novel 4D hyperchaotic system with hidden attractors and coexisting attractors, which have no equilibrium points. The dynamic behavior of the system and five groups of coexisting attractors are analyzed by applying phase space ...
