Nitrogen-doping hierarchically porous carbon nanosheets for supercapacitor

Journal of Materials Science: Materials in Electronics, 2018
Two-dimensional (2D) porous carbon nanosheets attract great attention because of their thin sheet-like morphology, abundant pores and high specific surface area, and their potential applicability in many fields including adsorption, oxygen reduction reaction, organic transistor and energy storage.

Electrostatic self-assembly of hierarchical porous carbon microparticles

Journal of Power Sources, 2012
Abstract Hierarchical porous carbon microparticles (HPCMs) are produced by milling and sieving porous monolithic carbon, which was obtained by carbonization of a resorcinol-formaldehyde gel in the presence of surfactant as a pore stabilizer. The obtained HPCMs has a surface area of 536 m 2  g −1 and maximum specific capacitance and areal capacitance,

Peanut bran derived hierarchical porous carbon for supercapacitor

Journal of Materials Science: Materials in Electronics, 2018
Hierarchical porous carbon has been prepared from peanut bran via hydrothermal carbonization coupled with KOH activation at 800 °C for 1 h. The obtained porous carbon possesses an outstanding specific surface area of 2565 m2/g and total pore volume of 1.503 cm3/g with mesopores narrowly distributed from 2 to 4 nm.

Preparation and Characterization of Hierarchical Porous Carbon by a Hard-Template

Materials Science Forum, 2015
Carbon based adsorbent materials are prepared from sucrose using copper as hard pore template. The adsorbent materials were obtained by heating mixtures of sucrose and copper sulphate at temperatures in the range of 200 to 1000 °C for polymerization and carbonization followed by removal of copper template by leaching with dilute nitric acid. The copper
