Both Little Higgs and Higgsless Models provide new windows into the mysteries of electroweak symmetry breaking and lead to testable predictions at present and future colliders. Here we give a quick overview of three papers submitted to the ICHEP2004 meeting on these subjects.

Global frequentist fits to the CMSSM and NUHM1 using the MasterCode framework predicted m_h \simeq 119 GeV in fits incorporating the g_mu-2 constraint and \simeq 126 GeV without it. Recent results by ATLAS and CMS could be compatible with a Standard Model-like Higgs boson around m_h \simeq 125 GeV.

Bayesian approach to inverse problems: an application to NNPDF closure testing
We discuss the Bayesian approach to the solution of inverse problems and apply the formalism to analyse the closure tests performed by the NNPDF collaboration.

Relating amplitude and PDF factorisation through Wilson-line geometries
We study long-distance singularities governing different physical quantities involving massless partons in perturbative QCD by using factorisation in terms of Wilson-line correlators. By isolating the process-independent hard-collinear singularities from

Benchmark planes for Higgs-to-Higgs decays in the NMSSM
AbstractWe present benchmark planes (or lines) with cross sections via gluon fusion for the processes $$H\rightarrow h+H_{S}$$ H → h + H S

Anatomizing Exotic Production of the Higgs Boson
We discuss exotic production modes of the Higgs boson and how their phenomenology can be probed in current Higgs analyses. We highlight the importance of differential distributions in disentangling standard production mechanisms from exotic modes.

We present results for the decay constants of the D and D s mesons computed in lattice QCD with N f = 2 + 1 dynamical flavours. The simulations are based on RBC/UKQCD’s domain wall ensembles with both physical and unphysical light-quark masses and ...

Using published Higgs search data we investigate whether any evidence supports the possibility that the Higgs may be mixed with other neutral scalars. We combine the positive evidence for the Higgs at 125.5 GeV with search constraints at other masses to explore the viability of two simple models.

Wave scattering event shapes at high energies
We study the space and properties of global and local observables for radiation emitted in the scattering of a massive scalar field in gauge and gravitational plane-wave backgrounds, in both the quantum and classical theory. We first compute the radiated

Trilinear Higgs couplings in the two Higgs doublet model with CP violation
We carry out a detailed analysis of the general two Higgs doublet model with CP violation. We describe two different parametrizations of this model, and then study the Higgs boson masses and the trilinear Higgs couplings for these two parametrizations ...
