Classical Yang-Mills observables from amplitudes
The double copy suggests that the basis of the dynamics of general relativity is Yang-Mills theory. Motivated by the importance of the relativistic two-body problem, we study the classical dynamics of colour-charged particle scattering from the ...

We present the first analytic O α s $$ \mathcal{O}\left({\alpha}_s\right) $$ -computation at twist-1,2 of the B ¯ u , d , s $$ {\overline{B}}_{u,d,s} $$ → γ form factors within the framework of sum rules on the light-cone. These form factors describe the

Discovering the Higgs with Low Mass Muon Pairs [PDF]
Many models of electroweak symmetry breaking have an additional light pseudoscalar. If the Higgs boson can decay to a new pseudoscalar, LEP searches for the Higgs can be significantly altered and the Higgs can be as light as 86 GeV. Discovering the Higgs

Boomerang webs up to three-loop order
Webs are sets of Feynman diagrams which manifest soft gluon exponentiation in gauge theory scattering amplitudes: individual webs contribute to the logarithm of the amplitude and their ultraviolet renormalization encodes its infrared structure.

Electromagnetic finite-size effects beyond the point-like approximation [PDF]
We present a model-independent and relativistic approach to analytically derive electromagnetic finite-size effects beyond the point-like approximation.

Motivated by the dramatic success of realizing cavity exciton-polariton condensation in experiment we consider the formation of polaritons from cavity photons and the amplitude or Higgs mode of a superconductor. Enabled by the recently predicted and observed supercurrent-induced linear coupling between these excitations and light, we find that ...

We establish the existence of static, classically-stable, winding solitons in renormalizable three-dimensional gauge models, with topologically trivial target space and vacuum manifold. They are prototypes for possible analogous particle-like excitations in the higgs sector of the standard electroweak theory.

Reweighting a parton shower using a neural network: the final-state case
The use of QCD calculations that include the resummation of soft-collinear logarithms via parton-shower algorithms is currently not possible in PDF fits due to the high computational cost of evaluating observables for each variation of the PDFs ...
