Heavy-Higgs-boson resonance

Physical Review D, 1992
We study the use of the standard Higgs boson, with {ital m}{sub {ital H}}{gt}700 GeV, as a model for a resonance in longitudinal-vector-boson scattering. We focus on the constraint placed upon the modulus of the amplitude by unitarity. We show that it is better to use the energy-dependent width {Gamma}({ital s})={Gamma}{sub {ital H}}{times}({ital s ...

HIGGS BOSONS

Modern Physics Letters A, 1990
The main phenomenological aspects of the Higgs bosons are briefly reviewed in the context of the Standard Model and in models with an "extended" Higgs sector. Among the latter, special emphasis is made on the Two-Doublet Model and, particularly, the Minimal Supersymmetric Model.

Isosinglet-quark decays to Higgs bosons in multi-Higgs-boson models

Physical Review D, 1990
We examine the decays of heavy SU(2){sub {ital L}}-singlet quarks to a Higgs boson and a light quark in a class of E{sub 6} electroweak models with more than one Higgs multiplet. We calculate the branching fractions for several scenarios involving different Higgs sectors and quark mixing.

Algebraically composite Higgs bosons

Physical Review D, 1992
The recently introduced concept of algebraically composite particles (defined by means of Clifford algebras) gave, in the case of fermions, an algebraic explanation of the phenomenon of three replicas of leptons and quarks (as, e.g., ${\mathit{e}}^{\mathrm{\ensuremath{-}}}$,${\mathrm{\ensuremath{\mu}}}^{\mathrm{\ensuremath{-}}}$,${\mathrm{\ensuremath ...

Goldstone Boson Higgs

2016
This chapter provides a first illustration of the composite Higgs scenario and a first characterization of its phenomenology. In particular of those aspects of the phenomenology that robustly follow from the Nambu–Goldstone Boson (NGB) nature of the Higgs in a model-independent way.

Charged Higgs boson

Physical Review D, 1978
Assuming that there are more than one Higgs scalar doublet, we discuss the characteristics of the observable charged Higgs boson H/sup + -/ in the context of a vectorlike model of the SU(2) x U(1) gauge field theory. In particular, the production and the subsequent decay of H/sup + -/, the contribution to the muon magnetic-moment anomaly, and the ...

The Higgs boson

Reports on Progress in Physics, 1989
A comprehensive review of the phenomenology of the conventional Higgs boson is presented. The fundamentals of the standard model of electroweak interactions are reviewed. Experimental limits on light Higgs bosons are assessed and prospects for further experimental searches are evaluated.

Sterile Higgs Boson

Journal of the Korean Physical Society, 2019
To address the “little hierarchy problem,” we introduce two extra scalar fields neutral under the standard model gauge symmetry on top of the standard model. One linear combination of them has an almost flat potential, and so it can dynamically compensate the large Higgs mass parameter, while its small negative mass parameter can play the role of the ...
