A Renormalizable Neutrino Mass Model With (Z2 × Z4)⋊Z2(II) Symmetry

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
In this work, a renormalizable neutrino mass model based on (Z2 × Z4)⋊Z2 (II) symmetry is proposed for the modification of the μ − τ reflection symmetry. The hierarchies of lepton masses can be naturally realized, and the lepton mixing is addressed.

Measuring Higgs Couplings without Higgs Bosons [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review Letters, 2019
The measurement of Higgs couplings constitutes an important part of present standard model precision tests at colliders. We show that modifications of Higgs couplings induce energy-growing effects in specific amplitudes involving longitudinally polarized vector bosons, and we initiate a novel program to study these effects off shell and at high energy,

Search for dark matter in association with a Higgs boson decaying to b-quarks in pp collisions at s=13 TeV with the ATLAS detector

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2017
A search for dark matter pair production in association with a Higgs boson decaying to a pair of bottom quarks is presented, using 3.2 fb−1 of pp collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV collected by the ATLAS detector at the LHC. The decay of the

Complementary Probes of the Dimension‐6 Operator via Gravitational Waves and Multi‐Higgs Production

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
We investigate the phenomenological consequences of a dimension‐6 operator H†H3/Λ2, Λ is the effective scale at which new physics takes over, which modifies the scalar potential of the standard model and can induce a strong first‐order electroweak phase transition (SFOEWPT). We estimate the lower limit on the effective scale Λ to be 515 GeV from the di‐

ELECTROWEAK–HIGGS UNIFICATION AND THE HIGGS BOSON MASS [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Modern Physics A, 2007
We propose an alternative unification scenario where the Higgs self-coupling (λ) is determined by imposing its unification with the electroweak gauge couplings. An attractive feature of models within this scenario is the possibility to determine the Higgs boson mass by evolving λ from the electroweak–Higgs unification scale M GH down to the ...

Search for Higgs boson production in association with a high-energy photon via vector-boson fusion with decay into bottom quark pairs at s $$ \sqrt{s} $$ = 13 TeV with the ATLAS detector

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2021
A search is presented for the production of the Standard Model Higgs boson in association with a high-energy photon. With a focus on the vector-boson fusion process and the dominant Higgs boson decay into b-quark pairs, the search benefits from a large ...

A Superalgebra Within: Representations of Lightest Standard Model Particles Form a Z25$\mathbb {Z}_2^5$‐Graded Algebra

open access: yesAnnalen der Physik, Volume 537, Issue 12, December 2025.
A set of particle representations, familiar from the Standard Model, collectively form a superalgebra. Those representations mirroring the behaviour of the Standard Model's gauge bosons, and three generations of fermions, are each included in this algebra, with exception only to those representations involving the top quark.

Supersymmetric Higgs Bosons in Weak Boson Fusion [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review Letters, 2009
We compute the complete supersymmetric next-to-leading order corrections to the production of a light Higgs boson in weak boson fusion. The size of the electroweak corrections is of similar order as the next-to-leading order corrections in the Standard Model. The supersymmetric QCD corrections turn out to be significantly smaller than their electroweak

Active Learning in Physics: From 101, to Progress, and Perspective

open access: yesAdvanced Quantum Technologies, Volume 8, Issue 12, December 2025.
In this review, the concept of active learning is introduced to the physicists at the level of beginner without requirement on background in machine learning. It includes most of the latest applications of active learning in branches of physics, covering but not being limited to quantum information, high energy physics, and condensed matter physics. It

Higgs boson production and weak boson structure [PDF]

open access: yesZeitschrift für Physik C: Particles and Fields, 1996
The influence of the QCD structure of the weak bosons on the Higgs boson production in $e$-$p$ scattering is studied. The energy and Higgs boson mass dependence of the cross-section, following from the new contributions, is calculated.
