Abstract Introduction Coastal delta regions experiencing long‐term ecological degradation and sudden natural disasters require restoration approaches that are adaptive, process‐based, and context‐specific. The Samandağ coastline in southern Turkey, part of the Mediterranean Asi River Delta, has faced hydrological disruption, habitat fragmentation, and ...

ABSTRACT Objective To qualitatively explore the lived experiences of fasting during Ramadan and the Iftar meal in Muslim adults with low self‐regulation (i.e., low ability to control) eating behavior. Methods Semistructured interviews were conducted with Muslim young adults, scoring below the threshold for low/moderate self‐regulation on the Self ...

2D seismic and well data reveal multi‐phase basin filling in the Whatcom Sub‐Basin shaped by syn‐depositional tectonism. An Eocene transition from forearc basin to forearc depression corresponds to decreasing normal‐fault density and throw, both upsection and eastward. Paleogene–Neogene strata are the best CO2 storage targets.

Higgs boson properties from hadron colliders experiments [PDF]
We perform a state-of-the-art global fit to all Higgs data. We synthesise them into a ‘universal’ form, which allows to easily test any desired model. We apply the proposed methodology to extract from data the Higgs branching ratios, production cross sections, couplings and to analyse composite Higgs models, extra particles in the loops, invisible ...

Higgs properties in the Stealth Doublet Model [PDF]
I present a model with two scalar doublets and a softly broken $\ztwo$ symmetry, where only one of the doublets gets a vacuum expectation value and couples to fermions at tree-level. The softly broken $\ztwo$ symmetry leads to interesting phenomenology such as mixing between the two doublets and a charged scalar H^\pm which can be light and dominantly ...

How large are hadronic contributions to h → γγ?
The decay of the Higgs boson into two photons, h → γγ, is a loop-induced process within the Standard Model, predominantly mediated by loops of W bosons and top quarks.
