Decoupling Between Bacteria and the Surf-zone Diatom Asterionellopsis glacialis at Cassino Beach, Brazil [PDF]
The surf-zone diatom Asterionellopsis glacialis (Castracane) Round attains extremely high abundances (up to 109 cells l–1) and chl a concentrations (up to 1.5 mg chl a l–1), forming darkbrown patches in Cassino Beach, southern Brazil.

Microstructure Characterization of Natural Magnetite from Sand Marina Beach By High Energy Milling [PDF]
In this work, we performed an experimental investigation the change of microstructure of magnetite by high energy milling-3D (HEM-3D) method using planetary ball milling at 400 rpm speed. The present studies mainly focusses on the effect of milling on crystallinity and phase of magnetite by XRD, particle size by PSA and the morphology by SEM.

Decolorization of Disperse Dyes in Textile Polyester Recycling Using Activated Carbon
Decolorization of disperse dyes from disodium terephthalate solutions is examined using two activated carbons with varying pore structures and surface properties. The potential impact of pore size distribution and surface charge on the adsorption process is assessed to support optimized adsorbent selection.

ABSTRACT Employee sustainability teams—groups collaborating continuously and voluntarily on sustainability initiatives—can serve as a bottom‐up driver for organizational change. Despite their potential, however, their role and contributions are underexplored. To fill this gap, our multi‐case study examines 59 projects by 13 teams across three companies

Pollutant advective spreading in beach sand exposed to high-energy tides
Abstract This paper presents field measurements in which dye solute was injected into coastal sand to investigate contaminant advection in intertidal beach sand. The measurements show the pathways of a contaminated plume in the unsaturated zone during both the flood and ebb tides.
