Harmonic imaging at high frequencies for IVUS

1999 IEEE Ultrasonics Symposium. Proceedings. International Symposium (Cat. No.99CH37027), 2003
The authors investigated the properties of harmonic fields at high frequencies. A 40 MHz focused broadband transducer was excited at 20 and 40 MHz. The response from 20 MHz was measured at 20 and 40 MHz. The response from 40 MHz was determined at 40 MHz.

A high frequency harmonic VCO with an artificial varactor

1998 IEEE International Conference on Electronics, Circuits and Systems. Surfing the Waves of Science and Technology (Cat. No.98EX196), 2002
A tunable LC-oscillator utilising an artificial varactor is presented in this paper. The proposed variable capacitor is based on the well-known Miller effect. A theoretical model is developed to study the capacitance tuning range and the corresponding Q-value.

Effects of high-frequency harmonics on cardiac relaxation indices

American Journal of Physiology-Heart and Circulatory Physiology, 1981
This study was designed to determine the degree to which the systematic distortions in the pressure curve due to recording and filtering systems influence the relaxation indices. The purposes are 1) to analyze the dependency on the high frequencies of the relaxation and contractility parameters, 2) to determine the degree to which the catheter ...
