Effect of leakage inductance on high frequency transformer harmonics

2009 Compatability and Power Electronics, 2009
Nowadays, switching power supplies are used in almost all electronic devices to regulate the voltage amplitude. The only obstacle on using these devices is the production of high frequency harmonics that violates different standards such as (FCC, VDE, 461). In this paper the sources of various noises in switching power supplies will be introduced. Then,

Harmonic wavelet approximation of random, fractal and high frequency signals

Telecommunication Systems, 2009
The analysis of a periodic signal with localized random (or high frequency) noise is given by using harmonic wavelets. Since they are orthogonal to the Fourier basis, by defining a projection wavelet operator the signal is automatically decomposed into the localized pulse and the periodic function.

Propagation characteristics of high-frequency harmonics in distribution systems

2016 IEEE Power and Energy Society General Meeting (PESGM), 2016
High-frequency harmonics produced by modern switched mode power supplies have attracted attention in research community recently. To clarify if these harmonics are indeed a potential power quality concern, a research work has been conducted to understand the propagation characteristics of the harmonics.

A study of the high frequency harmonic response of belt amplifiers [PDF]

open access: possible, 2023
The steady state, harmonic behaviour of the capstan mechanism when used as a harmonic force amplifier was investigated. The investigation was carried out analytically; by numerical simulation; and experimentally over the range 0 to 4 kHz, spanning the low and high frequency regimes of operation of the belt amplifiers tested.

High-Frequency Harmonic Current Control of Power Converters

2019 IEEE Energy Conversion Congress and Exposition (ECCE), 2019
Resonant controllers are widely used in applications like active power filters and identification systems, where control of harmonics of high order (high frequency) is required. In such high-frequency range, to compensate the PWM/computational phase delay is necessary to avoid instability.

Study of high frequency harmonics propagation in industrial networks

International Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility - EMC EUROPE, 2012
This paper investigates the harmonic contents of an industrial network in the 2kHz–150kHz range. Measurement methods to characterize the ElectroMagnetic Interferences in this frequency range are proposed, using voltage or current. The harmonic propagation in the power networks is studied and discussed.

Development of high frequency, cyclotron harmonic gyrotron oscillator

Physics Letters A, 1988
Abstract The oscillation results of a high frequency gyrotron which operates at the fundamental cyctron frequency and its higher harmonics ( s =1, 2, 3) are described. The fairly high frequency of 220 GHz (corresponding wave length 1.35 mm) has been achieved at the fundamental and second harmonic of the cyclotron frequency.

High-frequency, step tunable, cyclotron harmonic gyrotron

Physics of Fluids B: Plasma Physics, 1991
The performance of a high-frequency gyrotron that operates at the fundamental of the electron cyclotron frequency and its higher harmonics is described. The high frequency of 220 GHz (corresponding wavelength 1.35 mm) has been achieved at both the fundamental and second harmonic.

Analysis of high frequency partials in Bayesian harmonic model

2008 International Conference on Audio, Language and Image Processing, 2008
Bayesian harmonic modeling and parameters estimation is a new approach in audio signal synthesizing. However current Bayesian harmonic modeling canpsilat effectively extract high frequency partials. In this paper we propose an improved model with parameters of high frequency partials for audio signal with harmonic modeling.

Component modeling for high-frequency harmonic analyses in the scenario of smart grids

2012 IEEE 15th International Conference on Harmonics and Quality of Power, 2012
The smart grids development implies large penetration of distributed generation and ancillary services apparatuses. This requires accurate network component models in a frequency range much wider than the classical interval, 0–2.5 kHz, used for traditional harmonic and interharmonic penetration studies.
