Novel Transformerless Multilevel Inductive Power Transfer System

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2022
Previous high power on-line inductive power transfer (IPT) systems use line-frequency (LF) transformers and high-frequency (HF) transformers to be compatible with the ratings of commercial power switches.

Lightweight, high-frequency transformers [PDF]

open access: yes, 1983
The 25-kVA space transformer was developed under contract by Thermal Technology Laboratory, Buffalo, N. Y. The NASA Lewis transformer technology program attempted to develop the baseline technology. For the 25-kVA transformer the input voltage was chosen

Less-conventional low-consumption galvanic separated MOSFET-IGBT gate drive supply [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
A simple half-bridge, galvanic separated power supply which can be short circuit proof is proposed for gate driver local supplies. The supply is made while hacking a common mode type filter as a transformer, as the transformer shows a good insulation, it

Potential Early Risk Biomarkers for Reduced Forced Expiratory Volume in Children Post‐Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT We sought to identify potential early risk biomarkers for lung disease in children post‐allogeneic HCT. Patients with pulmonary function tests 3 months post‐transplant and plasma samples between days 7 and 14 post‐HCT were included. Six of 27 subjects enrolled had reduced forced expiratory volume 1 (FEV1) z scores.

Copper Pipes as Medium Frequency Transformer Windings

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2022
Owing to increasing power demand, new technologies, such as solid-state transformers, are progressively researched and improved. Thereby, galvanic isolation and voltage adaptation are achieved by medium frequency transformers. To reach high power density

Analogue CMOS high-frequency continuouswavelet transform circuit

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 1999
A 16-channel analog CMOS high-frequency continuous wavelet transform circuit has been realized. The circuit performs a time-frequency decomposition of a high-frequency input signal. A 100 MHz operating frequency, 45 MHz bandwidth, and 40 mW/channel power dissipation have been achieved using a 0.5 /spl mu/m CMOS process.

A Systematic Review of Evidence on the Clinical Effectiveness of Surveillance Imaging in Children With Medulloblastoma and Ependymoma

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Surveillance imaging aims to detect tumour relapse before symptoms develop, but it's unclear whether earlier detection of relapse leads to better outcomes in children and young people (CYP) with medulloblastoma and ependymoma. This systematic review aims to identify relevant literature to determine the efficacy of surveillance magnetic ...

Cost and losses associated with offshore wind farm collection networks which centralise the turbine power electronic converters [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
Costs and losses have been calculated for several different network topologies, which centralise the turbine power electronic converters, in order to improve access for maintenance.

Study of the decoupling magnetic integrated high‐frequency transformer for DC/DC converter

open access: yesIET Power Electronics
The isolated DC/DC converter plays an irreplaceable role in the development of the DC microgrid. However, the multiple discrete high‐frequency transformers occupy considerable volume in power converters due to the connection of multiple isolated ...

Variation of Core Loss in High-Frequency Transformers Under Different Load Conditions

open access: yesIEEE Open Journal of the Industrial Electronics Society, 2023
Typically, the core loss of transformers is considered constant, regardless of the load conditions on the secondary side. However, this assumption is no longer valid for high-frequency transformers (HFTs).
