mm-Wave High Gain Cavity-Backed Aperture-Coupled Patch Antenna Array
A wideband and high gain cavity-backed 4 × 4 patch antenna array is proposed in this paper. Each patch antenna element of the array is enclosed by a rectangular cavity and differentially-fed by the slot underneath.

Peripheral lysosomes recruit PLEKHG3 to focal adhesions and restrain protrusion dynamics
Proximity‐dependent labeling at the LAMTOR complex revealed the Rho GEF PLEKHG3 as a lysosome‐proximal protein directing the study toward the influence of lysosome positioning on actin dynamics and cell motility. We show that PLEKHG3 colocalizes with lysosomes at focal adhesion sites and observe that forced peripheral dispersion of lysosomes hinders ...

A Design Concept of Power Efficient, High Gain Antenna System for mm-Waves Base Stations
A design concept for a phased-array-fed reflector antenna system intended for millimeter-wave base stations is presented. This concept is motivated by the need for efficient beamforming antenna systems with reduced power consumption as compared to the ...

Design of High-Gain Linear Polarized Fabry–Perot Antenna Based on Minkowski Fractal Structure
High-gain linear polarized antennas are widely used in wireless communications. However, the insertion loss of the feed network increases, limiting the potential for enhancing antenna gain.

Liver organoids: modelling complexity in homeostasis and disease
Studying liver in vitro has been challenging because simple 2D cell cultures fail to capture liver's cellular and architectural complexity. To bridge this gap, scientists increasingly use organoids, 3D liver models which better mimic liver composition and function. This review examines recent advances in liver organoid complexity and realism, discusses

Encapsulins are protein nanocompartments that play an important role in iron storage. In the Myxococcus xanthus encapsulin system, two cargo proteins called EncB and EncC contribute to iron mineralization. Here, we show that EncB and EncC generate iron‐containing minerals with distinct chemical compositions, suggesting that the composition of stored ...

High gain antenna for sub-millimeter wave communications
Nowadays the increase of high data rate communication applications requires high bandwidth at sub-millimeter wave frequencies and above, therefore high performance antennas are needed. This paper presents the design, fabrication and test of a high gain offset parabolic reflector antenna at sub-millimeter wave frequencies using typical machining ...

Synechocystis strains deficient in succinate dehydrogenase (SDH) secrete more succinate than the WT under dark anaerobic conditions, supporting that SDH then primarily acts as SDH, not as a fumarate reductase. L‐aspartate oxidase (Laspo) from Synechocystis is functional under anaerobic conditions, reducing fumarate to succinate.
