The In Situ Electrochemical−Chemical Cascade Strategy for Pyruvic Acid Synthesis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
By employing an “unsaturation−oxygen coordination engineering” strategy, the local coordination environment is regulated to achieve efficient electrochemical synthesis of H2O2. Importantly, an electrochemical−chemical coupled cascade strategy is utilized for the efficient preparation of pyruvic acid via lactic acid oxidation. ABSTRACT Hydrogen peroxide

Programmable Self‐Heating Microneedle Patch for on‐Demand Postprandial Glucose Management

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A programmable self‐heating microneedle patch enables on‐demand, timed‐sequence insulin delivery via user‐triggered quadrant activation. Each activation generates localized heat that melts a phase‐change barrier, accelerating drug release. In diabetic rats, sequential quadrant activation counteracts four meal‐mimicking glucose spikes over 24 h without ...

Developing Metal–Polyphenol Network‐Based Single‐Protein Particle Encapsulation System for Sustained Release of Whey Protein to Mitigate Sarcopenia

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Sarcopenia has emerged as a major health challenge in the aging population. Developing a sustained‐release system for whey protein may enhance its effectiveness in mitigating sarcopenia. Herein, a novel “single‐protein particle encapsulation” (SPPE) system is developed to protect whey protein and control its release.

Engineered Peptide Self‐Assembled Nanofibers for Enhanced STING Activation: A Promising Nanodelivery Platform for Immunotherapy of Pediatric Solid Tumors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An engineered peptide self‐assembled nanofiber platform, designed to replicate STING–cGAMP binding motifs, facilitates pH‐responsive cytosolic delivery of cGAMP, enhances the endoplasmic reticulum with high efficiency, and robustly activates the STING pathway.

Acoustically Activatable Drug‐Loaded Nanodroplets for Mechanochemical Therapy in Solid Tumors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Microfluidically fabricated drug‐loaded nanodroplets are sequentially activated by dual‐frequency ultrasound through acoustic droplet vaporization followed by bubble collapse, enabling spatially controlled drug release and mechanical tumor fractionation, resulting in synergistic mechanochemotherapy and prolonged survival.

Atomically Dispersed Fe‐Modified SnS for Sn‐Centered Peroxymonosulfate Activation Toward Acetaminophen Degradation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Atomically dispersed Fe regulates the local electronic environment and surface properties of SnS, while PMS preferentially coordinates to Sn through Sn–O interaction. Fe incorporation further enhances the Sn–OPMS interfacial interaction, facilitating Sn‐centered PMS activation and the generation of SO4•−/•OH for APAP degradation, thereby clarifying the

Targeting Macrophage‐Mediated Lymphatic Immunosuppression to Prevent Tumor Recurrence After Microwave Ablation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Incomplete microwave ablation induces animmunosuppressive microenvironment in tumor‐draining lymph nodes. An albumin‐based lipoprotein nanosystem enables coordinated delivery of immunomodulators to tumor‐draining lymph nodes and residual tumors, reverses post‐ablation immunosuppression, suppresses residual tumor growth, and promotes durable antitumor ...

The Cytoplasmic MicroRNA‐Production Complex Regulates MicroRNA Sorting to Extracellular Vesicles During Synaptogenesis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The mechanisms of microRNA cargo sorting to extracellular vesicles, important mediators of cell communication, are not fully understood. This study reveals that the microRNA‐production machinery acts as a ‘hub’ for the sorting of microRNAs to extracellular vesicles, a process regulated by dynamic organelle interactions.
