Facile Manufacturing of PEEK‐Based Nanocomposites for High‐Efficiency Wide‐Temperature‐Range Electromagnetic Wave Absorption

Herein, thermally robust poly(ether ether ketone)‐based composites reinforced by a hierarchical Fe3O4/carbon nanotubes/reduced graphene oxide (Fe3O4/CNTs/rGO) network are reported, delivering wide‐temperature‐range broadband electromagnetic wave absorption (298–573 K; minimum reflection loss (RLmin) ≈ −66 dB).

Non‐collinear magnetism is of high interest in the field of magnetoelectrics supplying a convenient mechanism to break inversion symmetry and thereby allowing for a spontaneous electrical polarization. Age‐Specific Survival Estimation of a Eurasian Crane Population Highlights a Long‐Term Decline in Juvenile Survival

The Eurasian crane (Grus grus), a symbol of conservation success in Europe, has made an impressive recovery. However, our results show that over the study period, juvenile survival declined by almost 30% overall, while sub‐adults experienced a smaller decrease, and adults showed no change.

Differences in reproductive performance traits of two Platanthera species

The species Platanthera bifolia and P. chlorantha (Orchidaceae) are both declining in Europe, but P. bifolia has been diminishing relatively more. Loss of habitats and landscape heterogeneity due to agricultural intensification or abandonment of less fertile areas are primary drivers of decreasing orchid populations.
