Sound Barrier Height Optimization of the High-Speed Maglev
CICTP 2014, 2014This study is based on a three-dimensional, unsteady, compressible N-S equation and RNG κ-e two-equation turbulence model, air pressure on high-speed maglev and aerodynamic force on sound barrier and cable box when the high-speed maglev passing are calculated. The aerodynamic characteristics at three heights during the high-speed maglev passing by each

Energy Consumption Analysis of High-Speed Maglev Train
2018In this chapter, the finite element model of the linear synchronous motor is simulated and analyzed by the analysis of the high-speed maglev train. The dynamic model of the train is established from the force analysis’s point of view. In addition, for the minimum energy consumption of the traction strategy, the minimum energy consumption model is ...

Field measurements and analyses of environmental vibrations induced by high-speed Maglev
Science of The Total Environment, 2016Maglev, offers competitive journey-times compared to the railway and subway systems in markets for which distance between the stations is 100-1600km owing to its high acceleration and speed; however, such systems may have excessive vibration. Field measurements of Maglev train-induced vibrations were therefore performed on the world's first commercial ...

The analysis of high-speed wheel-rail train and high-speed maglev train safety systems
Proceedings of ICSSSM '05. 2005 International Conference on Services Systems and Services Management, 2005., 2005The high-speed wheel-rail traffic system was built in the 1960's, and then the relative technology was continually innovating. At the same time, the maglev experiment lines were built in Germany and Japan. The first high-speed maglev traffic commercial railway line in the world was built in Shanghai of China in 2003.

Design of magnetic levitation electromagnet for High Speed Maglev train
2013 International Conference on Electrical Machines and Systems (ICEMS), 2013This paper deals with the design of levitation electromagnet for super high speed magnetic levitation (Maglev) vehicle. Electromagnetic characteristics of levitation magnet are analyzed by finite element analysis. Levitation force ripples and cogging force are reduced by adopting core separation.

Research on Braking Energy of High-Speed Maglev Transportation System
CICTP 2014, 2014A brief description of the overall energy consumption (including the amount and composition) of a high-speed maglev transportation system is presented. The example used in this paper is the Shanghai Maglev Demonstration Line. The composition of the braking energy is comprehensively analyzed.

Development of the Intelligent High-Speed Maglev Switch Controlling System
CICTP 2014, 2014This article describes the development of the new generation switch controlling system (SCS) for high-speed maglev, as well as the new solutions for the problems found in the current SCS. The last ten years of operation and maintenance have shown that the current SCS on the Shanghai maglev demonstration line is safe, effective and available. Meanwhile,

The Canadian maglev project on high-speed interurban transportation
IEEE Transactions on Magnetics, 1975This paper reports on design and experimental studies, currently being conducted in Canada, of an electrodynamically-levitated passenger vehicle system. Using a flat-topped guideway, the vehicle is levitated by superconducting magnets interacting with aluminum strips.
